What is your character most afraid of? How are they defined by this fear? (100-300 words)Hunter’s first and most consistent fear is of being alone. At first he most fears his uncle abandoning him- which isn’t unfounded, since Belos consistently reminds Hunter of how he has no other family but him, and that Belos’ disappointment in him could mean being abandoned. On top of keeping Hunter isolated from his age peers, as well as his "coworkers," this is why Hunter tolerates the verbal and physical abuse from his uncle, because it’s better than the alternative of having no one.
Once Hunter befriends Flapjack, another fear he has now is of Flapjack being discovered and killed, since palismen are considered “wild magic” and thus “bad.” Flapjack for some time is his only friend, and losing him would be emotionally devastating, so Hunter lies to his uncle to keep Flapjack a secret.
Dying is another huge fear of his, which seems obvious, but more specifically it’s death at the hand of his uncle that scares him most. He had already known what his uncle was capable of, “joking” in mid season 2 that he might as well dig his own grave rather than disappoint his uncle again, but that fear is actualized when he discovers Belos’ secret of killing hundreds of iterations of Hunter in the past. For a good while, even the thought of seeing Belos or hearing his name makes him begin to have a panic attack.
What is your character's greatest desire? How are they defined by this desire? (100-300 words)As per one of the recurring themes of Owl House, Hunter’s greatest desire is to be loved and accepted. It directly relates and runs contrast to his fear of being abandoned, to be so alone that no one could love or accept him. This is how Belos is so easily able to control Hunter- Belos reinforces the idea that no one would love or accept Hunter more than he would as family, and would even give crumbs of positive interactions to further manipulate Hunter.
With the introduction of Luz and Flapjack, Hunter's world expands. While Luz is someone his own age, they get off to a rocky start by standing for opposing sides of a conflict. Flapjack's affection for Hunter is unconditional due to him recognizing who Hunter was cloned from, and he stays by Hunter's side even in dangerous circumstances. This opens Hunter up to more relationships and interactions with other kids his own age, and realizing people could like him for him, not just what he can do for others.
Eventually his hand is forced, he has to rely on the new friends he's made to survive Belos' attempts to kill him, but it takes even some more time after that for him to really feel loved.
How will not having memories change your character? What core personality traits, if any, will change? How? (200-300 words)I’m removing a lot from Hunter at first because I’m interested in playing out how he gets to where he is. By the time we first see Hunter in canon, he’s already been under Belos’ influence for his entire life, and whatever happiness he’s had has been fleeting or an intentional manipulation. He struggles for a long time on figuring out how to be happy for himself, and it will also make the eventual gaining of bad-to-worse memories a lil more angsty when he thinks about the conflict between the happiness of nearly no memories versus the misery of the truth.
What he will have is a basic understanding of himself, and that he’s been mostly on his own- for now, he won't remember Belos and the influence he has had on Hunter's life. Even with Belos as his “uncle,” he had not often been warm to Hunter or given him a lot of deep positive experiences, so he'll be still somewhat standoffish, but Hunter's natural curiosity that he has to suppress in the Emperor’s Coven will be able to be totally free to investigate and learn.
He’ll also remember he had a mask, cape, and “job” but no memory of what that job was, just that he had to make his own identity distinct from the masked identity, and whatever he was doing was important. He’ll probably figure it was to be a “superhero” or something like that, if he’s introduced to the idea of heroes, because that’s not something that exists in the Demon Realm.
Overall, without his memories, he’ll be happier and with less burden, and so he’ll be able to make friends easier at least at first.

OneTwoMemories
You have 10 memory points. How will you use them?Major Memory: 2 points.
Demon Realm. Hunter knows he's from the Demon Realm, which is not the same place as the Human Realm. He expects things like the flavors will be different and the language looks a little weirder but not illegible. The animals look stranger to what he's known, and everyone has rounded ears instead of pointed ones. He knows magic is inherent to the Demon Realm, and not to the Human Realm, but does not know about witches specifically.
Major memory: 1 point.
Family. He remembers that at one point he had a family, but they died. He does not remember any of their faces. (Not counting this as a relationship memory, because he never met them.)
Major memory: 1 point.
Mask and duty. Hunter knows he used to wear a mask and cape at some point, and wearing them was tied to a sacred duty. He doesn’t know yet what that duty was, or what title he went by when he wore the cape and mask.
Skills: 2 points.
Fighting. He knows how to fight, preferably with a stick-like weapon, but also has the instinct to know when to duck and weave, and where to best strike. He remembers that fighting was something he did on a regular basis, and was trained in it, but not by who, and in what context.
Skills: 2 points.
Survival skills. He knows how to handle being in foreign and even dangerous environments, and how to endure a bad situation.
Skills: 1 point.
Sewing. He’s bad at it. But for some reason keeps trying.
Relationships: 1 point.
Flapjack. He remembers a cardinal named Flapjack, and spending a lot of time with him. The sounds of certain bird calls haunt him.
Total: 10 points used.
